Curt Echo Brake Controller for 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe
Question:
I am interested in the Curt Bluetooth trailer brake controller to use with a 2022 Jeep Wrangler 4xe and a 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe. The info says it will not work with the 2023 GC, however, it doesn’t specify 4xe. Will this work for me? If not, can you recommend a different Bluetooth brake controller that will? Thank you.

So long as your 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe and your 2022 Jeep Wrangler 4xe have 7-way connectors the Curt Echo Wireless Trailer Brake Controller item # C51180 will work. The newer vehicle's haven't been updated yet in our system (10/2/22) which is why it is saying it doesn't fit. The Echo is powered through your 7-way but controller by an app on your phone.
If you like the reassurance of a manual override button you will want the Manual Override Button for Curt Echo Brake Controller item # C83HR. You can mount it wherever you want it inside your vehicle.
