For your 2017 Chevrolet Travers I recommend the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 75528. This receiver is designed to fit behind the removable panel on your rear bumper fascia. It also has a welded tab for the Mounting Bracket # PK12711U that will hold the 7-way connector.
For the wiring portion you will need the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118271 that will connect to the factory wiring on your Traverse. It includes the necessary fuses and relays to activate the tow package. I recommend using the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty Brake Controller # RED24FR as the main portion of the controller is hidden behind the dash and all the controls are done through the small knob mounted on your dash where it is most convenient. The Plug-and-Play Wiring Harness # RED27FR will connect to the factory wiring behind your dash.
The Derale Series 8000 Plate-Fin Transmission Cooler Kit # D13502 is a class III cooler that will protect your transmission from overheating. The Derale Snap-In Radiator Adapter Fitting # D13035 will be needed for connecting to the output on your radiator.
