There a two different types of 5th wheels to consider for your 2022 Chevrolet Silverado 2500.

The first type of 5th wheel is a sliding 5th wheel like # BWRVK3775. This type of 5th wheel will allow the entire hitch to slide back towards the back of the truck to create the needed cab clearance for making tight turns. This type of hitch is ideal and used primarily with short box trucks, as they lack the bed space needed for cab clearance.

The other type of 5th wheel is your standard rail mounted/puck mounted hitch like # BWRVK3710. This type of hitch is going to be what is most commonly found in the majority of trucks and most widely used.
