Troubleshooting A Hard-Wired Greystone RV Fireplace That Wont Power On

Question:

When we last used our fireplace, it worked perfectly. Now it will not come on at all. Theres a master switch. We have switched it on, checked all the circuit breakers. It has to be hardwired because there is no power cord. It is installed in a Grand Design Imagine. Please help me to get it working again.

Since your Greystone RV Fireplace # 324-000068 is hardwired I recommend checking the power wire at the unit with a multimeter # PT29ZR and making sure you're getting a full 12v. If you are then you can move on to checking the ground to make sure it's good and that the connection is secure. If not, then you'll need to trace the wire to the power source/fuse to figure out where the power loss is. This model is designed to run off of 12v DC power so you could possibly have a blown fuse.

If the power and ground is good then the circuit board on the unit may be damaged and need to be replaced. Unfortunately we don't carry replacements so you would need to contact the manufacturer, Way Interglobal, on their website to get one.
