How To Install Hitch On Vehicle with Broken or Cross-Threaded Weld Nuts
Question:
I was trying to install a hitch on my 2004 toyota sienna. The threads are rusted. I ran a m12x1.5 instead of a m12x1.25 thread chaser. The first welded nut broke inside the frame. I was wondering what can I buy to still install my hitch. I saw your video. I would need the block spacers but also the carriage bolts and nuts grade 12 strength though. Could you give me the part numbers because I cant find it on your website

The only way forward once the weld nuts have been cross-threaded or broken is to drill them out and use carriage bolts and spacer bolts to replace them. The fish wire you need along with the spacer blocks are not common so you will want to get them from us; part # RP3022 and part # C58400 but the 1/2" carriage bolts and nuts you'll need to get from a local hardware store.
