Best Way to Stabilize Back of Trailer When Loading a Tractor

Question:

I have a twin axle utility trailer with a medium duty gate, how do I prevent the trailer from squatting when loading a tractor? I would like to add something to the end gate rather than trailer jacks.

For your application I recommend installing the Square Drop Leg Stabilizer Jack # SJ-R208 which is a weld-on application that provides 18" of travel and a 2,000 lb weight capacity. To stabilize your trailer you basically need something to take up the space between the ground and your trailer frame which is what jacks are designed for. Anything else is meant just to stabilize a load or it would be something like load leveling blocks that you'd have to store and then place down prior to loading your tractor. This weld-on jack gives you a simple solution once they are installed.
