Best Quality Trailer Breakaway Battery With Charger
Question:
Thanks Kyle. This is the one we have now and we remove the battery on long term storage. And getting concerned about the wire condition after the openings and closings. And not a fan of how short the wires are that connect to the battery. I would be willing to give another version a try. Maybe you have a #2 choice. I have ours set up where we can feed power to it to charge it via our main battery bank via toggle when it needs to he charged. We did all the work on the trailer ourselves. Gutted a new Haulmark. Thanks

Easily the highest quality trailer breakaway battery with a charge and indicator is from Tekonsha, and is the following part number:
- Tekonsha Push-To-Test Trailer Breakaway Kit with Built-In Battery Charger # 50-85-313
Tekonsha has a deserved reputation for quality, and the # 50-85-313 fits that bill, as our customers who have used it have rated it very close to 5 out of 5 stars. The kit includes a 5 amp-hour battery, built-in charger, and push button indicator so you know if the battery is charged, charging, or low.
