Question:
Can the rack be moved toward the front of the vehicle because I only have 45inch from the front of the factory crossbar to the hatch?

I have a cargo box solution for your vehicle that has 45 inches form center of front crossbar back to hatch seam but the Thule Sidekick part # TH78GC that you referenced requires at least 51 inches there otherwise the hatch will interfere and not open.
The Yakima Rocketbox 14 part # Y07192 requires 45 inches so since that is what you have it would work and is only option.
