Can Advent Air AC Unit Replace a Dometic Brisk Air II 13.5K
Question:
We have a 2020 Pioneer RK280 camper with a Dometic Brisk Air II #B57915.711J0. It is a 13,500 BTU unit and we just had our 2nd failure since we bought the camper new in July 2019. The must be losing refrigerant because they freeze up. The first was replaced under warranty. This one is no longer covered by warranty and I dont think we want to buy another Dometic with the poor history we are having with them. Will this 15,000 BTU unit work as a replacement and with standard 30-amp service?

Yes, the Advent Air AC unit part # ACDOM150B that you referenced will work great in place of the Dometic Brisk Air II you have and will also work just fine off of 30 amp power as well.
Since this kit was designed to replace a Dometic unit the install will be really easy and you'll be able to use the wiring and controls already present in your 2020 Pioneer RK280.
