Parts for Installing 7Way on a 1999 Ford Expedition
Question:
Part #118242 states that it is for an F150. Will this work on a 1999 Ford Expedition? The plug looks the same and I know the F150 and the Expedition share many parts.

Though the two vehicles are based on the same frame, they are very different and are wired very differently. If the Expedition was not ordered with the factory 7Way Tow Package, it will not have the wiring provisions for a 7Way. But the parts are available to get a 7Way installed.
If you already have a 4Way flat connector, you would need part # 37185. We have a video of this part being installed on a 1999 Ford F-250 that may be helpful to you.
If you do not have any trailer connector, you will need part # ETBC7 and # 118344.
