Recommended Hitch and Wiring Harness for a 2022 Honda CR-V-EX.

Id like to add a hitch to my 2022 Honda CR-V-EX gas, not hybrid. I need the whole assembly hitch, ball, pin, wiring, etc.. Can you point me to all the needed parts? Thanks

I would be happy to help you set your 2022 Honda CR-V-EX up to tow. To start out with you will need the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver item # e98848. This hitch is custom fit and bolts directly to your Honda with included hardware.

The reason I like the item # e98848 hitch is that it has a hidden cross tube that is concealed behind your rear bumper. The only visible portion is the 2" x 2" receiver.

For a wiring harness you will need the Tekonsha 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector item # 118741. This harness has a connector that plugs into your Honda's wiring harness that is located in your rear cargo area. You won't have to cut or splice any wires.

To round out your towing setup I recommend the Curt Towing Starter Kit for 2" Hitches item # C45534. This towing kit will provide you with a 2" ball and a fixed ball mount with a 3/4" rise and 2" drop. It also includes a hitch pin and clip, hitch receiver lock with keys, hitch cover, and a storage case.
