Is it Normal for Brake Controller Light to Stay on When Not in Use
Question:
The indicator light does not turn off it stays on all of the time. Can you tell me how to resolve this or what is wrong?

Brake controllers like the Tekonsha Primus IQ part # TK90160 that you referenced are designed to go into sleep mode after several minutes of inactivity which will then shut off the light on the controller that you mentioned. So basically there's nothing wrong with what you have and you'd just need to let the controller go into sleep mode and it won't drain the battery.
