Recommended Replacement for Coleman Mach 3 RV Air Conditioner on a Fleetwood Excursion
Question:
I have a 2009 Fleetwood Excursion 40T. The AC just doesnt seem to cool too well anymore. I would like to upgrade. Research has shown that I have a pair of 13.5k BTU Coleman Mach 3 AC units, part number 8534d7796. The system is ducted and there are no controls, besides manual vents in the ceiling air boxes. Would this Furrion 15k with conversion kit work? I realize that the 15k BTU will draw slightly more power and that I will likely lose my heatpump set up regardless of which direction I go for replacement.

Yes, the Furrion Chill Replacement RV Air Conditioner for Coleman Setup part # FR42PV will work great to replace the Coleman Mach 3 RV Air Conditioners on a Fleetwood Excursion. The plug-in adapter will allow you to use the existing controls/controller so no additional wiring is needed. It does not have a heat pump so if yours is built into the overhead unit this would indeed be lost.
