Will the Thule Elite Van XT 2 Bike Rack Work on a ProMaster with a Ladder on the Back or What Will

No, unfortunately the Thule Elite Van XT 2 Bike Rack for Ram ProMaster Rear Door # TH302013 will not fit if you have a ladder on the left door. That is because the platforms of this rack are too close to the van (especially when folded up) and there will be interference.
If you want to add a bike rack to your ProMaster the best way to do it would be with a trailer hitch. The etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e99AR will fit your ProMaster and provide you with a 2" hitch receiver for a bike rack. Pair this with a bike rack with a longer shank and you will be able to clear the ladder on your ProMaster.
I recommend using the RockyMounts BackStage Bike Rack for 2 Bikes # RKY10002. The closest part of this bike rack is 9-1/2" to the center of the hitch pin hole, so it should not interfere with your ladder. It also features a swing away design, which will allow you to have access to your rear doors.
