Replacement Wheel Cradles For Swagman Chinook Bike Rack to Replace Bent Cradle

Question:

Hello we have the Swagman Chinook bike rack and while visiting Yellowstone someone ran into the driver side and bent the tire “tray”/“cradle” inward. I tried bending by hand but it still rubs on the outside of a tire and pinches when trying to dismount said bike. How can we bend the cradle/tray into position or do you have replacements? 29er mountain bikes and gravel bike sometimes Thanks

So there really isn't a reliable way to bend the cradles back into place on your Swagman Chinook Bike Rack # S64683. Easily the best thing to do is replace the cradles so that you can dismount your bike without the tires being pinched. The cradles are the same for the left and right, and the correct replacement cradles for the Chinook are the following:

- Replacement Left Outer or Right Inner Wheel Tray # SP520

- Replacement Right Outer or Left Inner Wheel Tray # SP521
