Troubleshooting LCI 6-Point Left Middle Legs Not Retracting
Question:
Jayco Northpoint 381dlqs, retracted all legs. left middle leg didnt. tried several more times, left middle leg did not retract. I tried to figure out what was wrong, friend has same 5th Wheel, he said told me to try and left leg manually ?. Like a dummy I did as instructed, to my disbelief, I could move it up and down??? What could be the problem? Do I need to get it fixed, is there something I can do??

We've spoken with Lippert in the past about middle jacks of a Ground Control 6 point setup not retracting and they stated you'd need to recalibrate the system.
To do the recalibration you will need to extend all of the jacks 6" and not just the middle two that are having issues.
If this does not fix the problem then you can go to the control module and remove the harness in the left rear jack port and move the middle jack to that port, same with the right side, and that will allow you to retract the jacks temporarily. You will then need to take the trailer into a shop and have them diagnose what is causing the issue as the recalibration is the only troubleshooting step and it not fixing the issue means there is a more in-depth cause.
