How to Add 5-Flat Connector to 2014 Honda Pilot With Tow Package

Question:

Is the 2014 wired the same as the 2013? I need to install wiring for a flat 5 wire system. Please suggest all parts and pcs. required to do a professional job. I want the bracket to attach the connector to the oem facia. So I think I need the adapter from 7 to 5 flat.

The 2013 and 2014 Honda Pilots are of the same generation, therefore they should be wired identically.
I have confirmed with Tow-Ready that if you do not have wiring on your PIlot then the Tow-Ready # 118265 that you referenced will fit your vehicle.

If you currently have a 7-way connector on your 2014 Pilot then the easiest way to convert to a 5-pole flat connector is to add a connetor like the Hopkins Multi-Tow Connector # HM48470. This 7-way will replace your current 7-way and also accepts both a 4 or 5-flat connector. This connector comes with a mounting bracket and I have the installation instructions attached.
