How Many Hitch Pin Holes Does Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver DT73RR Have
Question:
I’m going to purchase the DT73RR for my 22 Subaru Outback. Can you tell me if there is one hole for a hitch pin or two? Thank you

Expert Reply:
The Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # DT73RR for your 2022 Outback only has one hitch pin hole. If you were wanting to use something like a locking J-Pin anti-rattle you won't be able to, but you could use the Anti-Rattle Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock # 63232.
If you plan on doing some towing, I recommend the Tekonsha # 118467 for your wiring needs. For a ball mount, I recommend the etrailer Ball Mount Kit # 989900. This kit has two ball mounts, one with a 3/4" rise or 2" drop and the other with a 2-3/4" rise or 4" drop. It also comes with a 1-7/8" and 2" ball, as well as a ball mount bag to store everything in.
