Will The Remotes Act Independently If Two MaxxAir Fans Are Installed In An RV
Question:
Kevin, Can you install two of these in the same rv. Will the remotes operate independantly?

Yes, you can have two MaxxFan Plus Roof Vent w/ 12V Fans # MA00-04500K in the same trailer. They both use the same sensor and remote so there is the potential that the remote could turn both on/off. It's really going to depend on how close the two are together and the direction you point the remote.
The remote sends out an infrared signal to the sensor in the fan, just like how your tv remote sends a signal to your tv. The only way to prevent both fans from reacting would to have them spaced away from each other and using the remote close to the specific fan you're trying to control. If you have a wall between the two, i.e. one fan in the living room and one in a bedroom, then you wouldn't have any issues.
