What Portion of MaxxFan Can be Reused When Installing New Unit in Roof

Thanks for your reply! One more question. I dont wont to disturbe the waterproofing, sho if I bought the new unit is it possible to replace everything but the shroud, leaving the housing intact? Thanks

When installing a new MaxxFan Plus Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan, Thermostat, and Remote # MA00-04500K in replacement of an old one you can reuse the garnish of the old vent if that's what you are referring to as the shroud. The garnish is the lower portion that mounts on the interior of the camper. Basically everything else would have to come out with the old vent though.
