Replacement Kodiak Disc Brakes and Rotors for a Aluminum I Beam Triple Axle Trailer
Question:
I have my 30 Formula Fastech on and Aluminum I beam tri axle trailer and a bear died and the tire almost came off. The trailer has surge disc brakes with 12 Kodiak Rotors with a 5 1/2 Bolt Pattern of 6 lugs, and Kodiak 225 Calipers. What do I need to rebuild everything new on one axle. Other bearings on other axles show no water intrusion. Thank you

To replace your Kodiak Brakes and Rotors you will want to use the Kodiak Disc Brake Kit item # K2R526S. This all in one kit will give you everything you need to replace your braking system on the axle you lost a bearing on. This set has stainless steel 12" rotors for a 6 on 5-1/2 lug pattern. The assemblies fit 5,200 lbs to 6,000 lbs axles and 15" and larger wheels.
You will also need two Kodiak Trailer Hubs for 5,200-lb to 6,000-lb Axles item # KH42655S. These attach directly to your spindle with inner bearing item # 25580 (1.75" inner diameter) and outer bearing item # 15123 (1.25" inner diameter).
For a bearing kit you will want two of the item # BK3-100 which includes 15123/ 25580 Bearings, 10-36 Seal. If your spindle wasn't damaged you will want to verify that they are 1.75" inner and 1.25" outer. If you axle is damaged and you need to replace it email me back the dimensions of it from hub face to hub face and the spring seats.
