It sounds like you are needing a 5th wheel hitch with the most clearance when towing. The best option will depend on your truck. Whether you have a 6-3/4' bed or 8' bed and if you have the OEM prep package or not. I have listed the best option for each scenario below. You would want at least 5 to 6 inches of clearance between the tops of the bed sides and the bottom of the trailer overhang. This can be accomplished by adjusting the 5th wheel hitch and the pin box on your trailer.
6-3/4' Bed with Prep Package
- B&W Companion OEM 5th Wheel Hitch w/ Slider for Chevy/GMC Towing Prep Package # BWRVK3775
6-3/4' Bed without Prep Package
- B&W Patriot 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Slider - Dual Jaw # BWRVK3270
8' Bed with Prep Package
- B&W Companion OEM 5th Wheel Hitch for Chevy/GMC Towing Prep Package # BWRVK3710
8' Bed without Prep Package
- B&W Patriot 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # BWRVK3255
All of these hitches will provide 3 height adjustment settings to help you get the best clearance. If you do not have a prep package to rails, you will also need the B&W Custom Installation Kit w/ Base Rails for 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches # BWRVK2505.
If you were needing something other than this, please let me know what exactly you are needing and I would be happy to help further.
