Parts Needed to Tow a Trailer with a 2019 Chevy Trax
Question:
Hi, could y’all recommend the products I’d need to haul a 9x12 Uhaul trailer with a 2019 Chevy Trax? If that’s even possible, I’m a bit cautious since it’s a pretty lightweight vehicle and I’ve never hauled anything with it before. Thanks so much!

We have the parts needed to tow a trailer with your 2019 Chevy Trax but the owner's manual states not to tow trailers with this vehicle so you'll be doing so at your own risk. I recommend finding/borrowing/renting a different vehicle to accomplish this but if you're bound and determined here is what you need:
Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver - # DT32GR
Trailer Wiring - LS # 118659 - OR - LT and Premier # 118751
Towing Kit - # C43KR
Be sure to check out the linked ball mount article to ensure the ball mount is the correct height. The one in this kit as a 4" rise but that may not be enough to get the U-Haul trailer level.
