Can RV Roof Vent with Fan Work if Lid Only Partially Opens

Can we operate a roof fan if the cover is only partly open, possibly at lower speeds or with reduced air flow? We need to find the lowest profile fan we can get so we can install it under solar panels. Can you recommend a fan with reversible air flow that we could use?

Yes, you can operate RV roof vent fans with the lid only partially open like with the Fan-Tastic Roof Vent part # FV802250 and it will still work great. You do not have to have the lid all the way open to get the full ventilation of these types of vents.
