Suspension Enhancement Options for 2008 Kodiak C5500 Motorhome
Question:
I have a 2008 Kodiak C5500 Motorhome I need something to absorb the rough bridges and a better ride. a friend of mine has these on his motorhome and he loves them he says the ride is why better. Not sure if the part number is the same but thats what they look like. All I can find is the Timbren and they want twice the money. Do you have any that would work for me? Thanks!

Although they are for the front axle, the SumoSprings # SSF-281-47 are confirmed to fit your 2008 Kodiak C5500 Motorhome. Unfortunately, for the rear axle the only comparable option is the Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System # TGMRC55.
There is a cost difference, but you have to consider that the # SS65FR you were looking at is for a truck and not a motorhome. Also, rear SumoSprings for your motorhome would likely have a different price point compared to the front. If you compare the Timbren to the # SSR-187-40-1 for a rear axle on a different motorhome and you will see that the prices vary greatly depending on the application.
The Timbren will still do a great job improving the ride and absorbing the bumps and shocks on the road you have been experiencing. If you really want to improve your ride significantly I recommend adding both the SumoSprings and the Timbren so your front and rear gain the additional support.
