Dimensions Of The Everchill RV Mini Fridge Main Body

Question:

IF the door were removed, how deep would the box be without the door? IF the fridge were slid into a hole, with the door hinge stopping the fridge from sliding in further, how far would the box slide into the hole? Ive read a bunch about this fridge. some sites say to leave an inch of clearance on both sides, the top and the back. I dont understand. Where are the heat dissipating coils? Would seem to me that you could install with almost zero clearance on the top and sides if you allow good clearance and ventilation to the back. Suggestion, on a class B camper with the curved sides, Measure Many times!!!!!

The body (not including the door) of the Everchill RV Mini Refrigerator # 324-000109 is 19-1/4" deep. The real issue isn't with the depth but more so with the door being able to open, you could essentially have the entire fridge and door in the hole if you had enough clearance for the door. You would need roughly an 1" to 1-1/2" of clearance on the side to allow the door room to open.

The fridge breathes through the opening in the lower back panel, and speaking from experience you'll want to ensure that there's plenty of room for the fridge to breathe, otherwise it will clog up the drain lines, overheat, and kill the compressor.
