Hey everyone. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com and today we're taking a look at the Replacement Lashing Winch for your Brophy Stake Pocket Holder. So this is going to be the item to ratchet down your straps, to keep your load nice and secure on your trailer and make sure that nothing's going anywhere. It's pretty easy to use system, ratchets down in place, winches that down so you get a nice tight fit around your cargo. And that way you can rest assured that it's not going anywhere while you're out on the road. So as I mentioned, this is going to be a replacement part.
It works with the Brophy Stake Pockets Winches, you will need to use it with that. It doesn't really work on its own. Also, there's a lever to winch that down, to give you a little bit more purchase on that. So it's going to be what works best with it, but it's going to have all the same features as your original.We'll still have the nice painted base that's going to attach to our Stake Pocket Tie-Down Winch. The binder tightens down that cargo strap.
The strap is sold separately. As far as the size of this, it measures 6" long, 4" tall and 3" deep. The strap size that is compatible with is a 2" Strap, and the endcap diameter, or for these holes that the bar goes into, that's going to be a half-inch bar size. The Safe Working Load Limit with this little guy is 3,333 pounds, a maximum load or your break strength is 10,000 pounds. Of course, you do want to be sure to go off of whatever rating for the rest of your components, including the strap that you use.
You never want to exceed the manufacturer's recommended weight for any component in your system. Basically you're only as strong as your weakest link.There's just a single Lashing Winch.
