I understand your concerns, however since your Powertek PDC 1001 is a pretty old unit, there isn't going to be a direct replacement.

The Progressive Dynamics RV Power Control Center with AC/DC Panel and Converter/Smart Charger # PD4135K is not an exact replacement but rather the closest replacement we offer.

Since your current unit measures 14" wide, and 7-1/2" tall, and the # PD4135K measures 11-1/14" tall and 8" tall there is going to have to be some modification to ensure proper fitment.

This is still a great upgrade option for you, and while you are going to have to make some modifications to fit, this will still serve your needs just fine.

Along with the 5 AC branches and the 7 DC fuse slots, this product will also work with lithium-ion, LiFePO4, flooded lead acid, AGM, and gel batteries, and also has a Charge Wizard that will monitor your RV's batteries, and will automatically begin charging when needed.
