Convert-A-Ball Cushioned Adapter Turning Clearance for Flat Bed Gooseneck Setup

Question:

On item number CAB-c5gx1216 I would like to know how much room is between center of the pin and the outer edge of locking mechanism. I have a flat bed where the ball is inset into the bed some.

From the center of the hitch ball to the outer edge of the Convert-A-Ball Cushioned 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Adapter # CAB-C5GX1216 is 5" and from what I'm looking at the lever for the locking mechanism is about the same width so maybe add 1/2" just to be on the safe side of things. As long as you're able to draw a circle with a 5-1/2" radius around your gooseneck hitch ball without making contact with your flat bed you'll be good to go with this setup.
