When it comes to installing trailer electric brakes on your Dexter Torsion Axles with the drums being # 8-201-5 The Electric Trailer Brake Kit - 12 inch - Left and Right Hand Assemblies - 5,200 pounds to 7,000 pounds # AKEBRK-6 will work for you.
This kit comes with a driver's-side and passenger's-side electric brake that measures out to 12 inches by 2 inches. The brake pads are made out of a durable friction material that overs an improved braking and longevity. The backing plates are E-coated which resists rust. These brakes will fit 14-1/2 inch to 16-1/2 inch wheels.
These brakes fit most standard hub-and-drum assemblies, including Dexter, Lipper (LCI), and AL-KO. The Mounting Bolts and Hardware # BRKH12 are sold separately.
