Does Curt Front Hitch for 2010 Chevy Avalanche Require Modifying Bumper
Question:
2010 Chevrolet Avalanche LTZ- I need a front receiver. I dont mind removing the air dam, but I dont want to cut the bumper. Is it even remotely feasible to shim this hitch down slightly so that it will sit flush with the bottom of the bumper cover with the air dam removed? I know the Curt unit can do this, but it sits too low. Thanks

The Curt hitch part # C31012 that you referenced does fit your 2010 Chevy Avalanche LTZ and does not require trimming the bumper. You do have to either remove the air dam or trim it but the bumper is not modified in any way.
