Which Sway Control System for a 2004 Trailblazer and 16 Foot Horse Trailer
Question:
I believe that I need to add a sway bar kit to stablize my 16 horse trailer. I only carry one horse, but at 50 mph I can feel some sway and am worried about semis rushing past. I need to know all the components I need to buy and where to get it installed in Edmond, Oklahoma.

One of the most important things you can do to control sway is to get the trailer and vehicle as level as possible, once this is done, then it is time to look into a sway control system.
Since it is a 16 foot trailer and you are only carrying 1 horse, I assume there is not a lot of weight, so a small friction sway control system should be sufficient. The Friction Sway Control system, part # 17200, should do fine.
Our installation services are offered at our Distribution Facility in Wentzville, MO. Your best bet for installation in your area would be a trusted mechanic or RV dealer.
