Can Curt Trailer Hitch For 2020 Toyota Sienna Tow 6x12 U-Haul Trailer
Question:
Can this hitch handle the load and size of an enclosed 6 x 12 Uhaul Trailer?
asked by: Richard M
Expert Reply:
Yes it can; a 6x12 U-Haul trailer weighs 1,920 lbs when empty, so you can load it up to the 3,500 lb capacity of the hitch and your '20 Sienna (I do recommend verifying the towing capacity of your Sienna in your copy of the owner's manual). So you can indeed use the Curt hitch that fits to tow this trailer, which is the following part number:
- Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13343
Along with this hitch, the other things you will need for your 2020 Sienna to tow this trailer are a wiring harness, ball mount, and hitch ball. Here is exactly what you'll need, including a ball mount with 5" rise based off the height of the hitch and trailer coupler:
- Wiring Harness (Sienna SE Model Only): T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118498
or
- Wiring Harness (All Models Except SE): T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118648
- Curt Ball Mount for 2" Hitches # C45336
- Pin and Clip # C21500
- 2" Hitch Ball # A-90
