Drill bit and hardware size needed when modifying heat shield?

Curt recommends using a 7/16" drill bit to install the Class I Hitch Receiver # C11109 on your 2004 Chevy Cavalier.
The hardware used to secure the hitch in those locations will be 7/16-14 bolts that are provided as part of the installation hardware with the hitch.
Attached is an installation video of this hitch on a 2003 Cavalier for you to check out. If you let me know what you plan on using the hitch for I'd be more than happy to make any additional recommendations that may be necessary.
