Troubleshooting An Air Leak On The Roadmaster Even Brake Supplemental Braking System
Question:
Roadmaster Even Brake 9400 ... I need some guidance on finding the air leak that is causing the compressor to cycle too often. I have isolated the air tank and the compressor and found no leak there. Any ideas where I should look next?

Helpful Expert Reply:
Typically if the Roadmaster Even Brake Portable Supplemental Braking System # RM-9400 is having a leakage issue it's either the Air Cylinder # RM-452109-10 or the exhaust valve # RM-450601-50, with the exhaust valve usually being the number one culprit.
I recommend checking the exhaust valve with some soapy water and seeing if you get any bubbles.
