Can the Swagman Bike Rack for RV Bumpers be Used While Towing a Car on a Dolly

Question:

will this rack allow me to tow my dingy with a tow dolly ? I now have a 2inch hitch in the receiver on my RV. My unit is a 1999 Fleetwood bounder 36. Thanks for a prompt answer.

What you will need is a dual purpose ball mount, # D210. This will allow you to place a bike rack in the 2 inch receiver portion and tow the car dolly with the ball mount part. The combined weight of the bike rack, bikes, and tongue weight of the dolly with the car loaded cannot exceed 750 pounds. I have included a link to a video review of this ball mount for you.

One thing you will need to be careful of is when making turns. The bikes, if they extend back far enough and depending on how far back the front of the car is from the coupler, could contact the car.

You can use bike rack # S64663 with this set up but you would not need the part that clamps around a bumper.
