Will the Lets Go Aero V-Lectric FAT PRO Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes Cause Damage to Wheels
Question:
This rack supports the bikes by the wheels/rims, I’m concerned that the weight of my heavy ebikes could actually damage the rims when traveling on rough roads. I also would be using this rack on the rear end of my travel trailer where the ride is rougher. Your thoughts please.

The Lets Go Aero V-Lectric FAT PRO Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes part # LGA77FR can support bikes up to 75 lbs. The bikes are indeed held by the tires and wheels using rubber straps. This will avoid any damage to the frame keeping the paint nice and new. There are also foam pads to further protect the bikes. The wheels and tires are plenty strong enough to hold the bikes up by and there have been no issues recorded with this using this rack that I'm aware of.
In regards to travel trailer applications, the ride is indeed much rougher back there which is why many racks are not rated for this use but you don't need to worry with the Lets Go Aero V-Lectric FAT PRO as it has been designed for this exact use. There is no tilting mechanism which makes for a much more secure hold therefore it can be used on the back of a trailer without issue or worry.
