Hitch Mount Bike Rack to Fit with Spare Tire on 2003 Jeep Liberty
Question:
I have a 2003 Jeep Liberty with a spare tire on the back. Dont really want a spare tire rack. Im hoping this one will work. I have 11 inch from the end of my hitch to the tire. I feel like this rack might work. Please let me know your thoughts.

The Hollywood Racks Road Runner 5 Bike Carrier # HR520 measures 9-1/2" from the center of the hitch pin hole to the closest edge of the carrier so it definitely won't be long enough to fit your situation.
An alternative solution is the Thule Hitching Post Pro # TH934XTR. This is a 4-bike rack as opposed to 5-bike rack but it measures 13-1/2" from the center of the hitch pin hole to the upright on the rack. The only thing you'll need to measure is where the hitch pin hole is at in relation to the end of your hitch receiver as it sounds like you just measured from the face of the receiver to the outside of your spare tire.
Attached is a review video of this rack on a 2008 Jeep Liberty for you to check out. Please note if any of your bikes has a children's frame or lacks a horizontal top tube you'll want to use an adapter bar like part # TH982XT so the bike will fit properly on the rack.
