What is Purpose of Amp Remote 12VDC 100 mA Circuit of Jensen Stereo Wiring

I am hooking up the wiring to my recently purchased JWM41. On the pin #14 Blue, AMP REMOTE 12VDC 100mA. What is that wire for?

The circuit you referenced is for using as a trigger circuit for an external amp to power on. So basically your Jensen stereo uses a keyed power source to tell it to turn on when the vehicle comes on. The remote 12 volt circuit you have mentioned provides the same function for an external amp if you were to want to use one.

So if you don't have an amp you can leave it unconnected.
