Recommended Trailer Hitch for 2015 Hyundai Sonata for Towing a Light Trailer
Question:
Hi, I have a 2015 2015 hyundai sonata. In the owners manual it says We do not recommend using this vehicle for trailer towing. Does this mean I cant tow any light trailer. I noticed you have two hitch options for this car. What do you think is allowed for this car? Thanks!

We do indeed offer trailer hitch options for a 2015 Hyundai Sonata, the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C11402 is what I recommend. This trailer hitch is rated for up to 2,000 lbs. Please note, the hitch is tested separately from the vehicle so if the vehicle is rated lower or not at all that is what we must recommend following.
In order to tow a trailer you'll also need a trailer wiring harness like the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness part # C56247 and a ball mount/hitch ball like the Curt Drawbar part # C45521, Curt Pin and Clip part # F-4, and Curt Hitch Ball part # C40018.
