The base plate kit you need for your 2015 GMC Canyon so it's compatible with the Roadmaster StowMaster Tow Bar # RM-501 is the Roadmaster Crossbar-Style Base Plate Kit # RM-523182-4. This kit is directly compatible with the StowMaster but if you're missing the Quick Disconnect adapters or need to replace them you can find them as part # RM-222.

For a complete flat towing setup you will need a base plate kit, tow bar, safety cables, vehicle tow bar wiring, a supplemental braking system, and possibly a high-low adapter. If you do not have all of these components just let me know and I can make some additional recommendations for you.

I'd be more than happy to help you with those parts! For wiring I recommend the Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267 because it's really reliable and it uses heavy duty diodes compared to other brands. Since your battery needs to be disconnected while flat towing you might also be interested in the Battery Disconnect Kit # RM-766 which makes disconnecting your battery as simple as pushing a button. Please note the disconnect cannot be used on diesel or dual battery vehicles. Then for a brake system I really like the systems that install for good as you don't have to set them up every time. They have more of an intensive installation but after the install they are really simple to set up when you flat tow. If your motorhome has hydraulic brakes use the Stay-IN-Play DUO # DM86VR but if it has air brakes use the Air Force One # DM26VR. Attached are some videos for you to check out.
