Atwood GC6AA-8P Replacement Water Heater Recommendation

I see that the one I have has been discontinued. I just need the electric thermostat. Water will not turn to cooler. I have GC6AA-8P. 91043. How can I change out thermostat.

The electric thermostat for your Atwood GC6AA-8P is not available as the parts and the entire unit has been discontinued which you are aware of.

Consequently, we do not have those parts available and our best option for you, is a full unit replacement.

I know this isn't an ideal situation considering you are just needing a thermostat, however finding replacement parts for this unit may prove to be challenging and frustrating.

If you're interested in a unit replacement, the Dometic RV Water Heater # DMC74FR will work great.

This water heater measures 12-3/4" tall, 12-3/4" wide, and 19-3/4" deep, and has the same 6 gallon capacity as your Atwood GC6AA-8P.
