How is 12 Volt Accessory Circuit of 7-Way Normally Activated
Question:
I bought a 7 way plug for my truck. Calls for 12+V to black wire. Where should I pick up the 12V??? thanks

The 12 volt accessory circuit of a 7-way would normally run from the vehicle battery's positive post through 10 gauge wire like part # 10-1-1 and a breaker like # 9510. You should note that this circuit does not have to activated for the rest of the trailer wiring to function. You would need it if you want a trailer battery to charge or have some interior/exterior lights you wanted to use.
