Solution to Make Install of Weight Distribution Spring Bars Easier
Question:
I am using the e2 wd setup and wondering is there a certain angle that the trailer needs to be at when connecting the round bars. I feel that I have to raise the trailer up too much and wondering if I am damaging my truck. Everything that I see says I should be able to connect the round bars without the tool and remove them easily. I am having to use alot of force to install and uninstall the bars with the tool. The truck and trailer are level when driving just hoping I can make connections easier. Thanks for any help.

What you will want to do is use the trailer jack to make your life easier. To do this connect your trailer to the hitch ball and then jack up the trailer (and now the rear of your truck) a couple inches or so and then try to install the spring bars on the hangers. This will take all of that tension out and make it really easy.
A powered a-frame jack like the Bulldog part # BD500187 will make this much easier.
