Recommended Drawbar For A 2015 Honda Accord Towing A 550 Pound Boat Trailer

I want to purchase a 24899 tow rack for my 2015 Honda Accord. I will be towing a small sailboat. The trailer is a standard size small boat trailer, total weight is 550 lb and the tongue weight about 40 lb. What drawbar should I order with the tow rack?

With The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class I - 1-1/4 inch # C11681 installed on your 2015 Honda Accord The Curt Class I Drawbar - 5 inch Rise - 11-9/16 inch Long - 2,000 pounds # C45025 would work for you.
The drawbar has a tongue weight up to 200 pounds which will work perfect with your 550 pound boat trailer. The drawbar has a corrosion-resistant, black gloss powder coating.
You also need either The 1-7/8 inch ball # C40001 or The 2 inch ball # C40018 for the draw bar. To finish the process I recommend The Hitch Pin and Clip # F-4.
Depending on what time of lights you have I recommend The Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C56011. This wiring harness plugs behind the driver and passenger side interior trim panels in your rear cargo area. It will allow your trailer's lights to mirror your vehicle's lights.
