Safety Chain and Trailer Wiring Extensions For Extended Length Trailer Hitches
Question:
Bought a nice long trailer hitch from you. Now my safety chains are too short and the trailer ends are welded to the trailer frame. Can I buy a 9-12 inch chain extension with 5000lbs working load several connectors to make up the difference. Thanks

We do offer a Wiring and Safety Chain Extension Adapter Kit # PR34QR that we recommend with our ProPride hitches due to the length of the hitch. This includes safety chain extensions, a 7-way extension and extension cable for the trailer breakaway system. Be sure to verify that your 7-way and breakaway cable are not also to short as this may solve all those issues.
