In order to use the electric brakes on your travel trailer you will need a 7-way on your 2019 Honda Passport. I recommend the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness for Factory Tow Package - 7-Way Trailer Connector # 118291. This comes with everything you need to add a 7-way on your vehicle. If you also need to tow a trailer with a 4-way connection you can always use an adapter like the # PK12716.
In addition to the 7-way you will also need a brake controller. I recommend the Curt Echo Wireless Trailer Brake Controller # C51180. This plugs in-line with the 7-way at the back so you won't have a brake controller taking up space in the vehicle. The braking power is controlled via the app on your phone. The app also works as a manual override but if you prefer a physical button you can use the # C83HR.
If you don't already have a hitch, the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13421 is a great choice. This is a Class III hitch with a 2" receiver. It has a maximum trailer weight of 5,000 lbs and tongue weight of 750 lbs. This is also compatible with weight distribution.
If you need a ball mount, check out the etrailer Ball Mount Kit # 989900. This kit has two ball mounts, one with a 3/4" rise or 2" drop and the other with a 2-3/4" rise or 4" drop. It also comes with a 1-7/8" and 2" ball, as well as a ball mount bag to store everything in.
I have attached some review and installation videos for your reference.
