Can Two Single Axle Correct Track Kits Be Used in Place of Tandem Axle Kit
Question:
I have a tandem axle 5th wheel RV. Looking to raise it a few inches for a more level ride. Im towing with a 2016 Ram 2500 which sits pretty high stock and the trailer doesnt sit level when hooked up. I think Im gonna replace the leaf springs too because they look almost flat with just the RV weight. Question is can I order 2 single axle kits? 2 single axle kits is cheaper than a tandem axle kit, would I get the same parts with 2 single axle kits?

Yes, you can use two of the Correct Track Trailer Alignment and Lift Kit - Single Axle # LC87120 and it will be the same as the tandem axle kit # RR23QX. The tandem axle kit comes with 8 suspension plates and 16 alignment correction plates along with the hardware. Since the # LC87120 has 4 suspension plates and 8 alignment correction plates it would be the same if you ordered two.
For leaf springs, you will want to make sure you match the current capacity and length. The length is measured from spring eye to spring eye. The capacity should be the same as your axle. For example, if you have a 27" long spring with a 3,500 lb axle you could use the 4-Leaf Double-Eye Spring for 3,500-lb Trailer Axles - 27" Long # SP-210275.
I have attached some review videos along with a link to all of our leaf springs and a helpful article on trailer suspension for your reference.
