I have a great solution for you to use a brake controller. However, the Redarc Tow-Pro Elite Trailer Brake Controller # RED44FR (EBRH-ACCV3) is not compatible with the 7-Way RV Upgrade Kit for Trailer Brake Controller Installation # ETBC7L. In order to use the Tow-Pro Elite, you need the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller - 7-Way RV and 4-Way Flat # ETBC7 instead.
It is important to note that you need to have a 4-way wiring harness installed on your vehicle before you can install the # ETBC7 and the Tow-Pro Elite. Also, depending on your vehicle, you may need an additional plug-in wiring harness to complete the installation of the Tow-Pro.
In order to make sure you have everything you need, feel free to respond with your year/make/model of vehicle and whether you have a tow package, and I will be happy to recommend wiring for you.
