Timbren Axle-Less Suspension # A35RD545E on Trailer Towed By 2013 Ram 1500
Question:
Are the brakes also included in this package? What electric brake controller do I need for my new 2013 Ram 1500? I also tow a boat with this truck and it has hydraulic brakes does an electric brake controller have to be disconnected when I tow my boat? The truck ahas a dual connector 4 way and 7 way. Thanks

The Timbren Axle-Less Suspension system you mentioned, part # A35RD545E does include the electric brake assemblies. As you will see in the photo I provided, each brake assembly has two wires extending from the rear. One wire would ground directly to the trailer frame, while the other will connect to the brake output circuit from the trailer connector.
The Tekonsha Prodigy P2, part # 90885 would be an excellent controller for your needs. I am assuming that your boat trailer uses a hydraulic surge coupler, if this is the case you will not need to disconnect the brake controller while towing your boat. To install the controller, you would need a wiring adapter, part # 3023-P.
